Our twenty-five strong team, with offices in North Yorkshire, Newcastle and Leeds, is the largest specialist practice in the region. Additionally, we have the benefit of an in-house barrister, Ian Kennerley, with over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of family law.

The firm was founded in 2010 as a standalone boutique firm comprising the former Dickinson Dees (now Womble Bond Dickinson) family team. Founding partners Ian Kennerley and Margaret Simpson decided that their clients' needs were best met within a smaller, specialist practice dedicated to the delivery of excellence.

Since then the firm has continued to expand and has retained top tier status in both Chambers and Legal 500 every year since it was established. Its founding partners are recognised as leading individuals in both guides.
